Ugh, I think I've run out of reasons to avoid luncheons with an old friend and I'm not ultra huge on eating with her.
Also, I'm hearing there's conflicts on one of the students being signed up for an exhibition match.

What kinda conflicts?

Basically we have a student in the Fusion and Synchro Courses. The other major Synchro Teacher is pushing for them to be in a match using their specialized means of Dueling.
The Fusion Course Teacher, who is the student's main teacher, is saying they're not competent enough to even perform in a standard exhibition match.

Aha. There's a few students that fit that...
... And they're all competent. Some more than others, but I think I know who he's talking about and she deserves a shot. I'll have some words with him.

Your funeral. I've tried talking with him, and he's something else.

Please~ I know how to deal with scary people.

Also there's still problems coming up with the Fusion Course teacher? Uggh.
no subject
I'm not calling it a problem.
no subject
Maybe so. But. Given the number of complaints I've been hearing... Why is he arguing when it was the Synchro Teacher who's pushing for this?
no subject
Because he's insisting they're not a student performing to standards for being worth an Exhibition Match, and a side teacher shouldn't be weaseling past his authority.
no subject
Technically, isn't it as much the Synchro Instructor's authority? If they're a part of both classes... I mean, quite obviously, the Synchro Instructor seems to think they're performing to their standards.
no subject
The issue is the student's primary class is the Fusion course.
no subject
Hnmm... It still feels like there's a conflict of what their standards are...

He just doesn't like the student in question. Apparently because said student was involved in an accident that broke the leg of one his "Top Picks".
no subject
An accident...?

A hologram of Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman hit the opposing student with 6800 Attack against their monster.
The systems glitched in the Riding Duel they were in. And the opposing student flew off their D-Wheel, and ended up with a broken leg.

It sounds like a genuine accident, then... But he's holding it against them? Ergh, this is kinda why I wish LDS would hire on more teachers for each course...

The "Top Pick" student was one of his favorites.
As well, I think they're trying but I hear some reason Fusion skilled Duelists keep getting scared off...

Funny question, but is your friend Wakahisa, Noriko?
Scared off? Why?
no subject
No clue.
no subject
Hnmm... Maybe that's something to look into...

Though I wouldn't mind dating a younger man for once.

Let's no get hasty here. No date is going to happen if she ends up doing something like, I don't know, inviting me to your luncheon.
